Mefenamic Acid and Paracetamol Suspension come under the branding XYLID-M. It belongs to the combination of drugs known as Non-steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs that are widely used for the treatment of mild to moderate pain such as migraine headache, period pain, pain, rheumatoid arthritis, inflammation, heavy bleeding during periods, muscle pain, tooth pain, joint pain, pain after surgery, ear pain, fever, flu, and osteoarthritis. For the reduction of fever and to be used as an adjunctive treatment to relieve symptoms of cold and flu.

Mefenamic Acid and Paracetamol Suspension contains Mefenamic Acid 50mg and Paracetamol 125mg. It acts as a blocker effect of the chemical messenger called cyclo-oxygenase enzyme that makes other chemical prostaglandins. By blocking the impact of COX enzymes, fewer prostaglandins are produced. This supports overcoming mild to moderate pain and inflammation at the damaged or injured site.
